Stella is the brainchild of Susie
Schreiber, an experienced Middle School Math and Science teacher.
Susie has spent the bulk of her career teaching Mathematics and Science to middle school students. She spent seven years at West Middle School in the Cherry Creek School District outside of of Denver, Colorado teaching math and science to 7th graders with an emphasis on writing in the curriculum. Susie also taught high school math at Eaglecrest High School in the Cherry Creek district and middle school math at Shaker Middle School in Shaker Heights, Ohio and Goddard Middle School in Littleton, Colorado. She also spent time in Washington, D.C. writing and researching on education issues for the Youth Policy Institute and Pelavin Associates. Susie received her Masters in Education in Teaching and Curriculum at Harvard University and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan. Susie currently consults on the Stella writing program and teaches math at the Littleton Preparatory Charter School.
